Director - Adam Barnard

Adam Barnard graduated from Queens' College, Cambridge in 2001. Recent directing includes The Story of Vasco by Ted Hughes after Georges Schehadé, Three In The Back Two In The Head by Jason Sherman, The Little Years by John Mighton, and O'Flaherty VC and Press Cuttings, both by Bernard Shaw (all at Orange Tree); Lie of the Land by Torben Betts (Arcola); Patience by Jason Sherman (Finborough); Look Back In Anger and A Midsummer Night's Dream (Lichfield Garrick); The Swing of Things by Torben Betts, Pro-Active by Alma Cullen, Face Value by Dawn King and White Lies by Robert Shearman (all at Stephen Joseph Theatre, Scarborough); You Were After Poetry... by Steven Bloomer (HighTide Festival); Future / Perfect by Dominic Mitchell (Company of Angels / Soho Theatre); The Map Maker's Sorrow by Chris Lee (Eklektisk, Copenhagen); The Straight Man and Amy Evans' Strike, both by John Finnemore, and the devised play The Principle of Motion (all Edinburgh Fringe) and Shadows by Rachel Wagstaff (Old Vic New Voices: 24 Hour Plays). He was artistic director of Activated Image and is currently an Associate of Company of Angels.
